Paul is a senior member of the Legal Profession and following admission to the bar in early 1988 has practiced law continuously since. He founded the firm of D’Angelo Kavanagh almost 20 years ago when he asked Terry Kavanagh to join him in Partnership.
Susan has more than 20 years post-admission experience as a solicitor and barrister commencing in a busy general practice and even running her own successful sole practice in the city. During this time she represented many clients in all jurisdictions facing criminal charges from traffic offences to murder in addition to representing victims of crime in their claims for compensation.
Daniel Daniel joined D’Angelo Kavanagh in 2007 as a law student undertaking a clerkship. His talents were quickly recognised and his responsibilities and capabilities increased exponentially to the extent that by the time Daniel graduated he had already undertaken and won his first Magistrates Court trial and was handling complicated litigation including a Trade Practices dispute in the Federal Court of Australia in which he briefed silk. He was conferred his Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice Degree in 2011.
Terry was admitted to the bar in 1982. Over the years he has gained a great wealth of experience in the law. Early on in his career he spent a total of 4 years with the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s office (now the Commonwealth DPP) primarily as a federal prosecutor handling complicated prosecutions including drug importation, tax fraud and social security fraud.
